What is this?

This happens to everyone. You're itching to write but you can't come up with a premise for a new thread. Either that or you're full of ideas and you don't have the time or energy to write. Whichever is the case, this is the place to go if you want to put down a few ideas of things to write about or borrow one from someone else. This is experimental since I've got something similar I use for myself (and share with staff). That and it's a good exercise to just come up with small-scale thread plot ideas that can serve as the starting point for new character relationships or building on existing plots.

Here are a few guidelines for using this list:

• Make sure a scenario is crossed off when it has been used.
  
• Try to add one or two scenario ideas for each one you use (to ensure the list is always growing).
  
• Reply to this thread to indicate a scenario has been used or to add new scenarios.
  
• If a new NPC is created for the thread and is not killed off in the thread, try to add it to the NPC list.
  
• Consider reusing NPCs from the NPC list.
  
• If you have created NPCs on the NPC list consider writing thread ideas for that NPC for other players to interact with him/her.
  
• Have fun. Feel free to adjust a scenario as much as necessary to make it fun and interesting for you.

Aganthis

Onise

• Several temple priests try to slip away with valuables from the temple's back room before they're noticed by their fellows. They intend to sell the goods down a back street.
  
• The drug problem in the Onise slums becomes more evident when a man is arrested for killing his family in order to have enough money to afford his addiction. {Claimed by Blue}
  
• The water demon from the teapot in This thread: 'One Quiet Afternoon' makes a second appearance on land, this time in a ceramic vase, and he's thoroughly not amused.
  
• A cult of Sacrifice worshippers fears that their Spirit has abandoned them. To please their god, they dedicate rituals in His name, which include slaying victims. {Blue}

The following are deprecated since we are focusing on Onise and Aganthis.

Vione

• A student journalist is trying to sneak into the summit proceedings so that he can get an inside scoop on the goings on inside.
  
• The portal malfunctions causing some travelers to end up in an unexpected destination ill-equipped to cope with their new surroundings.
  
• A Roc Rider [someone who ferries people using Rocs and Bronth] is furious that her carrier service has dropped in sales. With the new portals, fewer people need beasts to travel. In retaliation, she sets up a scheme to sabotage the portals. {Blue}

New Ethus

• An Ethian noblewoman can be overheard telling her dear friend about how the empire will return to its glory all in good time. She seems confident, prim and perfect, and then a small dirty child throws a mudcake at her.
  
• During a routine patrol of the streets a fight breaks out between New Ethus soldiers and a number of youths.
  
• Several bandits flee into the gypsy caravan to avoid being noticed by New Ethus law enforcement putting at least one family in the uncomfortable position of harboring criminals while searches are conducted.

• A group of shamans open up a portal to the Spirit World. Unfortunately the beings that emerge are not friendly… {Blue}
